Privacy Policy

This site, abnito.ai, is run by Abnito, Inc. ("Abnito," "we," "us"), a Delaware corporation with offices at 440 N Wolfe Rd, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or send us a message, and what we do with it. Questions go to info@abnito.ai.

What you send us. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, company, the option you pick for what best describes you, and your message.

What the form records automatically. When you submit the form we also store your IP address and an approximate location (city, region and country) worked out from that IP address by a third-party lookup service, so we can tell where an enquiry came from and spot abuse.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics. It sets cookies and collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use it to understand how many people visit and which parts of the page are used.

Our servers keep standard technical logs (IP address, time, the page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

• To read and reply to your message, and to follow up on what you told us you are working on.
• To understand and improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share information only with the services that help us run the site:

• Hosting. The site and its database run on servers hosted with Hetzner.
• Email. Messages from the contact form are delivered to us, and a confirmation is sent to you, through our email provider.
• IP location lookup. Your IP address is sent to a third-party geolocation service to work out the approximate location described above.
• Analytics. Google, for Google Analytics. See Google's own privacy policy for how it handles that data.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public. If Abnito is involved in a merger, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of it.

The only cookies we know of are the ones Google Analytics sets. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's browser opt-out add-on for Analytics. The site works without them.

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation, and we delete them when you ask us to. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing info@abnito.ai. If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion and correction, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland you have similar rights, including to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. We process the information described here to run the site and answer you (legitimate interests), and, for non-essential analytics cookies, with your consent where the law requires it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted access to the admin area. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything you could not afford to have exposed. In particular, do not put confidential or proprietary details in the contact form unless we have agreed in writing to keep them confidential.

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We are based in the United States and your information is processed there and may be processed in other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
